About Apollo Valves Conbraco
Established in 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, the Consolidated Brass Company, "Conbraco" was founded with its primary focus on manufacturing valves & fittings (ball cocks and air cocks) for various industries. Throughout the 20th century the company expanded its product line to include a wider range of valves, fittings & other plumbing-related products which marked its significant growth and made Conbraco a reputable name in the valve industry.
In 1968 Conbraco introduced the Apollo® brand of ball valves, which quickly became a major success and one of its flagship products. The brand became synonymous with high-quality manufactured and reliable ball valves.
In the 2000's the company continued to innovate and expand its product offerings with its development of various valves consisting of Apollo ball valves, check valves, relief valves, butterfly valves, safety valves, gate valves, backflow preventers, actuated valves, fittings & other components used within industrial / commerical plumbing applications.
The comany was sold in 2010 to Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems Americas, Inc, a global Dutch company. Retaining the Apollo Conbraco brand, the brand still exists today as an industry leader under Apollo Valves and has over 95 years of valve production experience.
